Weekly Weigh In & Meal Plan: April is Here

This weeks update is going to be pretty brief as I am absolutely exhausted! It feels like there are just not enough hours in the day! Last week was easter week and after seeing a very big wedding gain I was hoping to just about get away with a STS when it came to weigh in. Delighted to end up losing half a pound this week. I know it may not seem like much to some, especially since I gained 3.5lbs last week, but I know my body and for the week thats in it I was lucky to lose anything at all.

So getting down to business again this week and hoping to lose a little more of that gain and work my way back to goal again. I'm really proud of myself, we are into month 4 of the year and I have kept up all my mini resolutions for the year. I am back to experimenting more in the kitchen, so I have lots of lovely recipes to share with you all. I am walking almost every lunch time on my break and hitting above 10,000 steps per day. I have meal planned for every week of the year so far, and stuck to a shopping list so that I only have what we need to eat in the house. And finally I am back running. This is the one I am happiest with, I had started to worry at the end of last year I would never find the fun in running again but I am well and truly there now.

So down to this week, my meal plan is done and no big surprises in store. I'm heading to a friends for dinner and a few glasses of prosecco/wine on Friday night and out for dinner on Saturday night. But I will have all my weeklies and a fair amount of fit points earned to cover those so I am not too worried! Have 2 more recipes to post this week, and am experimenting with a new veggie recipe on Thursday so hoping to have something lined up for next week too!
