I had a great week on plan this week and the results showed in Weigh In on Saturday morning. After my small gain last week, this week I managed to lose 2 lbs! Only 1lb away from my goal weight and I can't remember the last time I was this close. Looking back over my blog posts, I have really been struggling with things since I turned 30. Its been a constant yoyo and I really want to break that pattern this year. I feel as motivated as I was back in 2012 when I rejoined and I am doing everything I can to ensure the motivation stays around.
I know not everyone is loving Smartpoints, but I really can't rave about it enough. It has totally removed the craving for chocolate every evening because I really do not want to spend so many smartpoints on the treats. Thanks to the fact I'm not saving smartpoints for a sweet treat, and protein is so low in smartpoints, my meals are much more satisfying and filling. My skin is much better than it has been in years, my hair is shinier and I feel better. I've fit in a couple of off plan nights over the past 6 weeks and I am still down 9lbs.
This week also marked by 3 year goalaversary! While I haven't been perfect for the past 3 years, I haven't allowed myself to regain all my bad habits and go back to where I was at the start of 2012. I'm pretty proud of that if I am being honest. I have had by difficulties but I've never given up. So even if you are struggling, remember to keep going. You are doing better than you would be if you give up!
So now onto this weeks meal plan! I'd be lost without my meal plans. I can breeze through my week without even thinking and even if I am tempted to have something unhealthy, I don't want my shopping to go to waste so I stick to my plan.
